Test preparation and the college admissions process is filled with lot of angst for students and parents alike. Here is a list of carefully curated questions that we often find people wondering about. Hope it helps you answer yours.   • As part of registering for the SAT/ ACT test, Collegeboard and ACT allow you to be able to send your test scores directly to four colleges at no additional charge. Collegeboard even extends a nine-day grace period after the test day to send scores at no additional fee. Read more on our blog.

Session Change & Cancellation Policy

Below policy is applicable for all our private (1:1) and semi-private (2:1) sessions:

  • Tutors are not authorized to accept cancellations or schedule changes.

  • All cancellations and changes must be made through our office, via e-mail admin@axiostutoring.com or phone call (412-833-6060).

  • To cancel an appointment without charge, please call or contact us by 4PM the day before the scheduled appointment. For sessions on Sunday and Monday, please notify by Saturday 12pm.

Late Cancellations/ No Shows are subject to full price charges. 

Holidays

Our offices will be closed on the following days in 2023. For making any changes to the sessions day after the holiday closing, we will need to be notified before the holiday:

April 7 -10 (Easter Weekend) - For sessions from April 7-11th, deadline is April 5th, 4pm

May 29 (Memorial Day) - For sessions on May 29 and 30th, deadline is May 27th, 12pm

July 4 (Independence Day) - For sessions on July 5th, deadline is July 3rd, 4pm

September 4 (Labor Day) - For sessions on September 4-5th, deadline is September 2nd, 12pm

November 23-25 (Thanksgiving) - For sessions from November 26-27th, deadline is November 22nd , 4pm

December 22-25 (Christmas) - For sessions from December 22-26th, deadline is December 21st, 4pm

December 31 - Jan 1 (New Year’s) - For sessions from December 29-Jan 2nd, deadline is December 28th, 4pm
